Raymond J. Chetti is an urban planning and retail development consultant with three years of professional experience in Asia (China, South Korea, & Malaysia), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia), and North America (U.S. & Canada). He founded the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Young Leaders Group (YLG) in South Korea and is currently the YLG head chair where he is in charge of liaising with senior leadership from both ULI Asia Pacific and ULI Korea to organize events around the country. He is currently a project manager for the retail development & urban planning / design consultancy, Reurbanist.
Since joining Reurbanist in 2013, his current work as an urban planning and retail development consultant has allowed him to grow professionally and work collaboratively with some of the most recognized names in the industry such as Dubai based McARTHUR + COMPANY, Vancouver based Thomas Consultants Inc. and GP Rollo & Associates. Ray's experience with these companies through Reurbanist includes the creation of retail market & development studies that involve site location analysis, economic & retail market analysis, competitive supply positioning assessment, retail demand analysis, comparative benchmark case study profiles, and AutoCAD/SketchUp/GIS mapping. He looks forward to working with Reurbanist's clients on other international urban planning & real estate development projects. |
Photo Gallery (2008 to present)As a retail development consultant with Thomas Consultants Asia Pacific from 2011, he participated in a variety of assignments ranging from mixed-use and lifestyle oriented centers to urban entertainment and transit oriented developments in the South Korean market. Projects included SHINSEGAE-Taubman's Hanam Union Square, SHINSEGAE's Dongdaegu Transit Centre Complex (TOD), and Taubman's IFC Mall in Seoul's YBD.
